  • Holly Hill's first ever Community open evening!

    Fri 19 Jun 2015

On Wednesday 24th June we will be holding our first ever community open evening. We want to show off our school to peolpe in the community who wouldn't normally visit us - past pupils, people new to the area, or people who are just interested in looking around. There will be a chance to look around the classrooms where the children's work will be on display, look at a display of photographs from years gone by and  talk to the teachers and governors. Friends of Holly Hill, our PTA, will also be serving refreshments.

School will be open from 6.00-8.00, so we hope we will see you there!

  • Assessing WIthout Levels - New Statements

Thu 18 Jun 2015 Mrs. Steed
As promised, I have now uploaded the new statements for assessment for each year group. They are under the parents sections on the 'Assessment at Holly Hill' page. These are the expectations taken from the new curriculum and it is expected that children complete all statements to be considered to be 'Working At Age Related Expectations'. These documents should help you to see how high the expectation now is and how much of a challenge it will be for children to meet these standards. Please find me if you have any questions at all about them.
  • Governors year end financial statement

    Thu 18 Jun 2015
You will find the year end budget statement in the letters section of the website. This shows the funds that the school has received and a breakdown of how this has been spent. It also shows the carry forward we have which will go into this year's budget. The amount available this year is smaller than in previous years due to fluctuations in pupil numbers, which is the main driver for our budget allocation, so this carry forward will be used to maintain levels of service and keep class sizes at an acceptable level.
