28.03.24- Have a lovely Easter 🐣🥚
27.03.24- The final art lesson, show casing everything we half learnt over the half term. We loved having a big sheet and designing our own cave art! ✋🏼 🟤🔴🐗

18.03.24- Acting out a part of our English text, this was the “WOW!” Moment! 😮
15.03.24- Amazing support for Red Nose Day, all of us enjoyed a cake 🧁 🔴
11-03.24- 15-03-24- This week we have been focussing on talking (oracy) before writing. We have been using different sentence starters and discussing ideas with different partners. Even passing an imaginary talking ball! 🗣️🏐
14.03.34- International maths day! Busy making more times table flash cards and testing each other✖️
13.03.24- Science day!
Science session 1- Making bug hotels, over time we will explore what bugs have visited! 🌳 🐞 🕷️
Science Day with Mrs Ward: The theme this year was time, so we linked it to our Jigsaw learning about being healthy and exercise, and had timed activities on a circuit. We had to estimate how many we'd get done in a certain amount of time. Then we measured our pulse in a minute half way through and at the end. We found that we under estimated how many we could do in the time given. ⏲️⌛️

07.03.24 In Mrs Cordon’s WBD session, we began by listening to MC Grammar’s World Book Day song and finding all the books he mentioned 📕📗📘📙
We then tried to put the book covers in the order they appear in the song.
We then got a chance to read the bookis from the song while playing musical books! 📚🎵
06.03.24- Grammar this week has been all about inverted commas, we’ve been using this song to help us remember all about using them!!
04.03.24- We are now serving and hitting the ball to each other in PE, starting to really focus on aim and where the ball is going! 🎾
01.03.24- testing different pencil grades and lines in art ✏️
29.02.24- Sorting living things into different groups in science🦁 🐸 🐶 🌱 🌳
26.02.24- Our jigsaw topic this half term is ‘healthy me’, as part of this we had a look at the calories and sugars in different foods 🍪 🍫 🍬 🧁
23.02.24- In science we went into whispers woods for a bug hunt! 🐌 🐜 🐛 🐞
22.02.24- exploring ancient art, we designed our own page to showcase the information we learnt and had a go art drawing the Lion Man statue
19.02.24- Reading and listening to the Psalm 23, we used the dictionaries to find the meanings of some unfamiliar words and discussed what it means to Christian’s and us 💭
19.02.24- Starting back with PE, this half term we have double PE. Today we began our tennis unit, trying to control the ball with the racket 🎾
