05.02.24 Today we began the final process in our podcast production- editing the audio!
01.02.24 We looked at the chord progression of the 12 bar blues, tapping out the steady 4-beat.
01.02.24 We then used Boomwhackers to play along with the 12 bar blues
01.2.24 In Music, we applied our learning about different styles of music to help make reccommendations.
29.01.24 - this morning we had a go at dividing with remainders... let’s hope the pen rubs off the tables! 🖊️
26.01.24 A fabulous example of our oracy work, was when Alex used a few sentence stems to give this brilliant podcast intro!
26.01.24 In English, we began putting our podcast scripts together to decide what would make the cut for the recording!
26.01.24 In Maths, we began exploring the concept of division by putting place value counters into equal groups.
25.01.24 In Music, we looked at rhythm notation and began playing along to crotchets, quavers and rests. We loved this Mario themed one!
25.01,24 Once we were used to the rhythm notation, we combined them to create 2 bars of our own rhythm.
23.01.24 In Science, we used string telephones to investigate how sound travels. We tested strings of 2m, 1m, pulled straight and around corners.
22.01.24 - having a blast with musical instruments 🎸 experimenting with vibrations!
18.01.24 In active 15, we played AIR HOCKEY! We progressed from being on our knees into a plank and had a lot of fun!
17.01.24 We looked at features of podcast scripts and Falcon class were having some very independent and mature conversations 🤓
16.01.24 Falcon had their first swimming lesson today! It was so steamy and warm in the pool- the kids said it was like swimming in a bath!
15.01.24 We worked in groups to collect research about Stevie Wonder in preparation for the podcast episode.
12.01.24 We used oracy strategies to rehearse our podcast intros before writing them.
11.01.24 In Music we have been listening to different musical styles and recording our ideas.
09.01.24 Today we having been writing a review for some of the podcasts that we have been listening to.📱
