Our two heroes this week: Rosie and Cruiz for their explanation text writing ✍️ 🌟
Snow ❄️ Mr Close didn't realise consequences of starting a snowball fight - year 3 and 4 really went after him! 😃❄️
Safer Internet Day 2024: We joined in with the assembly and discussed keeping safe online. I was really impressed with the ideas and knowledge Kingfisher had about keeping safe online 💻 📱
Measuring in meters, centimeters and millimeters. Kingfisher are working out which units of measurement to use. 📏
English: We have been planning our explanation text about sound and heating, using our science work and knowledge we have learnt along the way. 👂 🎶 ✍️
Science: Our investigation wasn't find out if sound gets fainter, the further away we are from it. 🎶👂

Music: composition using percussion instruments 🎶 🎵
This week, we have continued our coding journey, to make a jingle at the end of the half term. We have had fun coding the different instruments. 🎹 🎷

English: Kingfisher have been working very hard on writing a podcast script. We have had to make sure we have included facts, sound effects and opinions. ✍️ 🎶 👂

Science: we made ear cones to investigate how sound travels onto different sizes. 👂
Times Table (TT Rockstars) the battle is on! ✖️ 🎸
APOSTROPHE! 🎸 We have been rocking out to the apostrophe song, then practised using them for possession. From rock singing to silent focus, superb work Kingfisher! 🌟
Computing: We have programmed our own sequence of events on Scratch. 💻
Science: We have been investigating how sound travels using paper cup 📞. We discovered that the longer the phone cord, the harder it is to hear the sound. 👂
