It may be the last day of the half term but the children of The Nest have still been hard at work. As you can see in the pictures the children applied both their position and direction knowledge they have developed during maths lessons as well as their computing skills to direct a BeeBot across a grid.
We’ve been doing lots of reading today in the Nest. We went to the library to pick our own book before taking time to have some independent reading time.
Today, some of the children used numicon to help them with their maths. Some were ordering numbers while others were counting pegs to match to the numicon pieces.
As part of our work around the book “The Magic Paintbrush” the children painted and then labelled a picture of something useful that they could paint to help others.
