Staycation

STAYCATION!
While some of our friends are away on residential, our teachers have planned some enrichment activities for those of us still at school.

01.12.23 The final day of staycation and today we had a ‘sleepover’ by getting comfy in our PJs and then relaxed with a bit of Christmas cross stitch 😊

30.11.23 We had an amazing trip to the winter wonderland that was Rufford Country park today!

We started out with some fabulous creativity and teamwork while shelter building!

We bathed in the winter sun over lunchtime, before heading out on a lakeside walk! The Penguins were great at joining in with Mrs Cordon’s marching songs!

We had an absolute blast on the adventure playground!

And we ended the day with some dancing to Christmas songs in the courtyard! 😅

29.11.23 Our second session was Nerf Wars! We loved being able to be sneaky and had tons of fun!

29.11.23 In the afternoon, we practised democracy by suggesting, and then voting for, a class name for the three days we were together. After a shortlist of 10 different names, the winner was...... PENGUIN! 🐧

29.11.23 We finished the afternoon with a Science lesson of visible light. We learnt that white light is a mixture of different colours and made colour spinners to demonstrate this. 🌈
