YEAR ONE - Spellings for this half term.
This week the children have been sending it and making glove puppets. We had to start by sewing around the outside. Puffin’s showed themselves to be great sewers.
Red Nose Day
WORLD BOOK DAY - Puffin’s all looked amazing in their costumes today.
Wk beg 26th February 2024 - Our core book for the next few weeks is a beautiful story called Leon and the Place Between, it is a truly magical story which is always a huge hit with the children.
Wednesday 28th February- Today the children have written questions based on our book Leon and the Place Between
Friday 23rd February- Well done to today’s Hero
This term our DT topic is about puppets. Today the children found out about different types of puppets.
Monday 19th February - What an exciting morning we had working with the poet Paul Cookson. We started the day listening to him performing some of his poetry.
