Sport at Holly Hill

Welcome to our sports page!

Here at Holly Hill we like to do as many sport competitions in and out of school as possible so here is a page to celebrate what has been going on.

If your child has competed for an outside club at all and you would like your child to be on this page to celebrate their achievement then please see Mrs Fisher, we would love to hear all about it!

KS1 and EYFS had a fantastic opportunity to experience a trampolining workshop. Each class spent time on the trampolines learning about the safety aspects we have to follow, and having a go at different ways of bouncing on the trampolines, also seeing what ‘tricks’ they could do.

On Thursday 15 year 5 children took part in ATTFE’s Harry Potter event (Academy Transformation Trust Further Education) at Ashfield Rugby Club.

The event included Harry Potter focused activities and entertainment, including elements of physical activity (linked to School Games), arts and science. There was even a visit from some Birds of Prey! We were asked to create a house name, flag and value.

All the children had the best time, thank you to Mr Close and Mrs Cordon for taking them.
