This Thursday should have been our annual Sports Day!

Unfortunately this will not be happening as we normally know it, but keep an eye on the 'Sports Page' or your 'Distance Learning pages' for Holly Hill's attempt at a 'Virtual Sports Day'!!

Here is a message from Glynn Hall – some of you may recognise his name as the man that organises all of our sports competitions!!

Morning to Everyone,

I hope you are all staying safe and healthy during this unusual period.

Throughout these uncertain times I shall be publishing/broadcasting a daily and weekly programme of physical activity ideas and personal challenges. Some of you may already be aware I have already started this process through social media using the following accounts and will continue to do so.

Twitter @schoolgames1

Facebook www.facebook.com/schoolgames1 and www.facebook.com/ashfieldschoolgames

Please access these accounts in order to view the content and share everything on your own social media accounts to spread the message.

Every Monday at 12.00 I am going to set a competition that anyone can do at home. Entries are taken by sending a video to either the twitter or facebook accounts above before midday on the Friday of the same week. This gives pupils, parents etc a week to practice and improve before submitting their attempt. I know many of you have seen the 2 room jump challenge which is this week's competition. There is still time to enter this week.

I look forward to your entries

Stay safe.

Glynn
