Thursday 2nd March
Today was planting day! The children as part of their science lesson planted a bean to grow in their plant pots this afternoon. The children will be keeping a close eye on how the beans grow over the coming weeks and taking scientific observations as the weeks progress.
Monday 27th February
This morning, the children began work on the making section of their first of two DT projects for this half term. The children were constructing a plant pot which will be used to grow a bean for our science topic this half term about plants. The children all worked ever so hard on their project and all made a fantastic start.
Tuesday 21st February
It’s Pancake Day! The children have been enjoying pancakes today in The Nest. It hasn’t just been eating though we have also been learning why we celebrate Pancake Day and it’s basis in Christianity.
