This morning, Wren took part in the Google Safer Internet Virtual assembly. The children really enjoyed the assembly and were really excited when Holly Hill got a shout out from the presenters!
We’ve been learning about mixing primary colours to create secondary colours today using paint. As you can see the children did amazing and were really confident in what combination of primary colours would make what secondary colours.
Wren had their first computing lesson this afternoon. The focus of our lesson was to use the laptops to create digital art using Clicker Paint, which the children did really well.
In Wren class we have joined in with a live assembly with ‘Be Internet Legends from Google’. The assembly was the first of three to help the children learn how to be safer while using the Internet.
Today, the children have been learning about the work of Piet Mondrian and his style of abstract art. The children then had a go at using coloured paper to create their own piece of art in the style of Piet Mondrian. As you can see they did fantastic.
Wren have already started working hard, today the children were using their imagination to write about what they wish they could have done during the summer holidays such as going to space or riding on a unicorn.
