21.12.23- Panto morning! Me and Mr Close have joined the crew! 💃🏼 🕺🏼
20.12.23- Christmas party! 🎉 🪩 💃 🕺

18.12.23- Meeting Santa!!🎅🏼 Big thank you to Santa and FOHH❤️
12.12.23- years 4’s have started their area topic, measuring the space inside of a shape using counters 🟥🔴
11.12.23- Swallows had the pleasure of watching the nursery/foundation performance, we absolutely loved it and it was so lovely seeing the little ones! ⭐️
07.12.23- creating shadows in science... have fun trying to spot whose who! 👀 🔦
06.12.23- a wonderful Hinduism experience, lots of great questions asked and answered and we have learnt so much! 🕯️
05.12.23- painting baubles for our beautiful Christmas tree 🎄
04.12.23- having a go at self referring in a game of ultimate frisbee ⭕️
29.11.23-01.12.23- Year 4’s Hathersage trip photos are under the ‘residentials’ page and the Year 3’s Rufford trip photos are in Kingfishers folder. It’s been lovely to hear what both year groups have been up to, we’ve all had a fabulous time!!
23.11.23- investigating which materials reflect or absorb the light 💡 🔦 ✨
21.11.23- HIT work out in PE 💪🏼
Week commencing 20th- both year 3’s and 4’s have been focusing on multiplying and dividing, grouping and sharing using counters and in our power maths books
Years 3’s
20.11.23- reading and finding the features of a biology, ready to write our own about Albert Einstein 📖
17.11.23- wearing spots and colouring Pudsey to support children in need 🐻 🟡
17.11.23- first lesson of computing, lots of tinkering to create shapes using FMS Logo to get use to programming. Using the probots helped us lots too!!
Both year 3’s and 4’s have been working hard in maths with problem solving. Here are the year 4’s highlighting the important information to help us break down the question 👍🏾
16.11.23-R.E. Inspired by Hindus and starting to explore why they celebrate Diwali we create our own mendhi designs.
13.11.23-17.11.23- Anti-bullying week
15.11.23- We certainly made some noise in assembly to support anti-bullying week!!📢
15.11.23- In science we made posters for how to keep safe in the sun ☀️ 🧢 🏖️
09.11.23- Dogs trust visit! 🐕 Today we participated in an assembly and then a workshop all about being safe around dogs 🐶 don’t forget the X-factor pose ❎
08.11.23- Starting our new science topic by categorising objects into light or not light columns 💡
08.11.23- Creating freeze frames in English to help us think about the characters feelings during certain points the in story 😯 😢 ☺️🥺
06.11.23- Fantastic first day back, we started with our extra PE- Frisbee! Swallows got stuck in and practised an overhead and back handed throw. 👏🏼
