WHAT A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS WEEK 🎄 🎅 🤶
Ivy very kindly let us borrow some of her own books on evolution and different animals/species and we all took it in turns to look through them. I lost count of how many times I heard the word ‘WOW!’

30.11.22 Studying life cycles in Science 🐸 🦎 🐢
29.11.22 After 2 weeks of planning, writing, editing and designing, the beast reports are finished! We’re so proud of our writing and can’t wait to see what J. K. Rowling thinks!
28.11.22 Publishing a best version of our non-chronological reports...
25.11.22 We ended a pretty exhausting week of writing our non-chronological reports (pictures to follow) with a Christmassy active dance break!

22.11.22 Our Art skills are progressing - look at our amazing Bowtruckles! We’ve been practising using line to create texture.
21.11.22 More of our Anti-Bullying week work. We celebrated with Odd Sock day, a whole-school playtime to celebrate friendship and unity and completed lots of activities with our friends in class.
18.11.22 Another wonderful hero, Theo, for his amazing Fantastic Beast plan and sketch.
14.11.22 We kicked off Anti-Bullying week with a visit from some local PCSO’s to talk to us about knife crime and crime reporting.
11.11.22 The whole school gathered on the playground to observe a 2 minute silence for Remembrance Day. We then had a whole school play time to signify friendship and togetherness - we loved playing with younger friends and even siblings!
08.11.22 After being lost in the post, our timberkits finally arrived and we got building and crafting our final DT piece!
07.11.22 Monday afternoon is our Jigsaw PSHE time and today we started our lesson with a game of pass the squeeze! It taught us about connection, patience and focus.
04.11.22 Better late than never! Our CAM kits arrived from the M.A.D museum and we finally got to build them this afternoon. Stay tuned for the moving part to go on the top!
03.11.22 We’ve started our new text this week, ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’. We’ve been working hard in our retrieval skills this week and today we were challenged to draw all of the information we retrieved instead of writing it! It’s safe to say this lesson was a hit!
We just had to listen to the Harry Potter soundtrack to get us in the fantasy mood!
