Around the World: Knowledge Organiser
In Science, we will be learning about rocks and soils. We will be finding out how rocks are formed in different ways. We will be classifying them into igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic rocks. Then we will be thinking about how their properties lend to certain purposes.
In RE, we will be thinking about the journey of Life and Death and how different religions have different beliefs about this.
In Geography, we will be learning about volcanoes and earthquakes. We will find out how the earth is structures of different layers. We will locate a variety of volcanoes and find out why earthquakes happen.

R.E: We have been in a journey of life, through different religions and beliefs. I have been very impressed with how Kingfisher responded maturely to discussing life after death in different religions. Kingfisher have created these wonderful life stories of their own. ✍️
Jigsaw: we have been discussing the different qualities of animals and thinking about if these would make a good leader or not.
