Cygnet Parenting Support
A diagnosis of Autism is required to access this parenting program.
The Cygnet Parenting Support Programme is for parents and carers of children and
young people aged 5-18 with an autistic spectrum condition. Parents of children on
the autistic spectrum face the usual positive and difficult challenges of parenting and
quite a few more. Attending Cygnet gives you an opportunity to develop your
understanding of autism and look at practical solutions to support your child.
ADHD Support through the Neuro-developmental Behaviour Support Service
Small Steps have two ADHD courses for parents of a children with an ADHD diagnosisand those with ADHD type behaviours without diagnosis.

Option 2 - The ADHD Workshop
You do not need to be referred by a professional, you can book yourself a place on one of the above courses providing you have a Nottinghamshire GP
Parent/Carer Support Group for ADHD/AUTISM
Neurodevelopmental Behaviour Support (NBS)
No diagnosis required.
A parent and carers support group. A safe space to discuss your child or family’s needs regarding behaviours that are indicative of Autism and/or ADHD.
Experienced staff are on hand for a chat, offer support and advice, alongside
the opportunity meet other parents/cares with similar experiences.
