🔴 Happy Red Nose Day 🔴

Science Day with Mrs Ward: The theme this year was time, so we linked it to our Jigsaw learning about being healthy and exercise, and had timed activities on a circuit. We had to estimate how many we'd get done in a certain amount of time. Then we measured our pulse in a minute half way through and at the end. We found that we under estimated how many we could do in the time given. ⏲️⌛️

Science session 2- With Miss Ward Kingfisher created their own bug hotels. Over time we will explore which creatures have come for a visit! 🌳 🐜 🐛

Week Beginning: Monday 4th March 2024

HAPPY WORLD BOOK DAY!

🏆 CONGRATULATIONS 🥳 to Tyler for winning the WBD art!! 👏

In Mrs Cordon’s session, we started by listening to MC Grammar’s World Book Day song and looking for the books mentioned in the lyrics 🎶🎤

We then tried to order the book covers in the order that they appeared in the song! 📚

English: We used our senses to imagine what a cave in the Stone Age would have been like.

Week beginning: Monday 19th February 2024

What a great first week back we've had - lots of hard work and a great outdoor session in Science to finish the week off. 🪱 🕷

Science: We started our topic about living things in the great outdoors, looking for wildlife. After the rain we've had, we found a lot of worms!

Our heroes this week were Dana, Rosie and Olivia for their wonderful art work 🎨

English: We took snapshots of the story, The Stone Age Boy, and studied the characters through drama. Kingfisher did a great job! 🎭
