30.09.24 We started our English lessons this week by exploring the ‘show not tell’ technique and matching sentences to the action they described.

23.09.24 To prepare for writing an internal monologue, the Falcons worked in pairs to interview each other in character.

19.09.24 Falcons were super mature and independent in English, finding quotes to help them sequence the events of a flashback in our novel ‘The Invention of Hugo Cabret’.

13.09.24 In D.T, we looked at how cam mechanisms turn rotary motion into linear motion, then made a moving example.

12.09.24 Today we had a visit from Andrew Moffat from ‘No Outsiders’ . We read the book ‘Mixed’ and thought about how we can respectfully challenge opinions that are different from our own.

11.09.24 Our display, based on the poem ‘Come All You Little Persons’ by John Agard, is up and looking great! Parents can come and find their own little person during class drop in tomorrow!

09.09.24 In French we learned the days of the week and used the tune of Twinkle Twinkle to really get them stuck in our heads! ⭐️

06.09.24 The live assembly talked about diversity, which got us thinking about the different languages we speak in class. It felt really special to have different members of the class share greetings from other languages with us 🤩 🇿🇼 🇵🇱 🇮🇳 🇭🇺 🇲🇽 🇯🇵 🇬🇧
