Welcome to Autumn 2
Our topic this term is The Journey based on a beautiful book by Aaron Becker
Wednesday 11th December - Today the children made Christingles and took part in a Christingle service led by Rev Lee from St Helen’s Church.
Tuesday 3rd December - Today in English the children sequenced pictures from QUEST in preparation to start writing tomorrow.
Friday 29th November 2024 - We have had a really busy week in Puffin Class and our grand finale was a TRAMPOLINING session which was great fun.
Well done to this weeks Puffin Class Hero
Thursday 28th November - We continued our DT work by making simple lever pictures and learning about axles.
Wk beg : 25th November 2024 - Our book for the next two weeks is the 2nd book in the Journey trilogy called QUEST.
We would all like to say a huge thank you for supporting us during our Winter Warmer and helping to raise funds for us to enhance the children’s learning in KS1
Thursday 14th November 2024 - DT : Today the children made sliders.
Friday 15th November 2024 - CHILDREN IN NEED 2024. Thank you for your generous donations.
Tuesday 5th November : Our Science topic this term is MATERIALS. Today the children were learning to differentiate between an object and the material it is made out of. They found and labelled everyday materials in the classroom.
