Thursday 13th March

British Science Week and Maths

Science-How does the height of people change over time?

Maths-Developing skills of estimating, accurate measurement, calculating totals and ordering decimal numbers.

 

Wednesday 12th March. We took part in an AI Live lesson as part of British Science week. As well as taking part with lots of activities we learnt about how AI is helping global issues such as pollution and deforestation.

Thursday 6th March

Owl class loved World Book Day today. We created our own story as an alternative to the book Tuesday by David Weiser. We designed book front covers and book marks too. The children looked fabulous in their World Book Day designed t-shirts. 

Lots of the children enjoyed visiting Falcons book bring and buy

...and time for a bit of reading.

Monday 3rd March. We’ve used all of our learning to create a poster about the circulatory system. Posters to follow.

Sequencing the events that lead up to World War Two.

Thursday 27th February

We listened to the live broadcast from Neville Chamberlain, the Prime Minister, declaring the start of World War 2 to the nation. We discussed the thoughts, feelings, emotions and fears of the people as they heard this news- not knowing what was to come. Some really thoughtful discussions.
