Happy New Year to you all!
I hope you had a lovely Christmas Break. We are excited to be back at school and as always, we have a great half term planned. Our topic this half term entitled 'What's wonderful about Stevie?' focussing on the areas of Music, Computing and Science. Our Swimming lessons start for Year 3 and 4 on Monday 19th January. Please see this half terms spellings which are all stuck in diaries. Please encourage the children to read regularly and in school we are looking for reading at least 5 times a week. Please see details of our learning on the Knowledge Organiser above.

NSPCC Number Day
Having fun with Numbers while raising money
for the NSPCC Charity
TTRock Stars, times-table games, games with prizes at playtime, problem solving fish-bowl activity and maths problems. We finished the day with a Number Day Assembly where Miss Morrison gave out prizes for our completion winners.

Thursday 22nd January. Exploring the tuning forks in Science. What happens when you put them in water? Why does this happen? Explore. Discuss and Justify.
Monday 19th January. Exploring Scratch at the start of our topic.
Wednesday 14th January. Practising times tables using our flash cards.
Tuesday 13th January. Circuit indoor athletics training was great fun. Apologies for the blurry action photographs.
Science. Investigating sounds made by instruments. What do we have to do to them? How do they make a sound? Can we change the sound? How do we hear that sound?
