D&T - Our final designs. We tested them against our specifications before evaluating them to see if we could make any future improvements. Great job Wrens!

D&T - making our structures, we worked in our groups to bring our creations to life, self evaluating as we worked to improve and find ways to make our bridges stronger and ensure they matched the specifications.

D&T - we worked together to plan our structures - we looked carefully at what specifications a bridge needed and used this to help us design our own.

Dress to Express day! How fabulous do we look!

We had a fabulous Chinese Banquet this afternoon, every child had a go at using chopsticks and trying some new foods. We had noodles, stir fry, sweet and sour sauce, rice and prawn crackers! Thank you to Mrs Hutchinson and Mrs Cooper for cooking up our feast and thank you again as we used some of our Winter Warmer money to enable this to happen.

Well-being Wednesday - we joined a live assembly and shared lots of lovely compliments with each other!

Mindful Monday for Mental Health week - we enjoyed some yoga together

P.E - creating sequences on the apparatus using everything we have learned this half term in Gymnastics

Number day - Everyone looked amazing and enjoyed a fun filled day of maths activities, playing games and a huge well done to our 3 winners from the playtime games!

Reading breakfast - we enjoy sharing a bagel and a book with you all

Our new core book ‘The Magic Paintbrush’

D&T - Today we worked in teams to create a bridge, we had to work together to try and make it stable and sturdy. We then tested the bridges stability by rolling a hall at them. Unfortunately only 1 showed some signs of stability, so we look forward to next week to try again!

Science - We have been learning all about animals and which animals give birth live or lay eggs.

P.E - Every Monday morning this half term we will be doing gymnastics, we had lots of fun exploring different movements and balances with different parts of our bodies.

English - Freeze framing parts of the story
