'How does it work?'

Welcome back Wrens :)

 

Key Messages for Spring 1:

  • P.E will continue to be on Monday afternoons, but we will also have an extra session on Tuesday mornings. Please ensure P.E Kits are in school and earrings/jewellery has been REMOVED on these days.
  • Year 1 children will start to receive spellings - all spellings are stuck in on a Monday/Tuesday and the tests will be taken on Tuesdays (always the following week)
  • I will continue to check for 5 times readers on a Monday.
  • PLEASE ensure your child's book and diary are in school everyday.

P.E - Gymnastics! We have been learning lots of different movements, jumps etc. and are starting to put them together into sequences

Music with the recorders - we created our own A B tunes with our partners and practiced playing them

P.E - Animal movements in gymnastics using a sequence

English - freeze frames for different parts of our story, we were great at working out which part each freeze frame represented

R.E - creating art to represent ‘The Creation Story’

Computing - Finding technology in the classroom

Science - finding and matching materials and recording their properties
