Thursday 13th February - Today the children have been learning how knowing number bonds to 10 help them work out number bonds to 20.
Tuesday 11th February- PE : In gymnastics the children were developing a sequence of movements on the apparatus.
Tuesday 11th February - Today is SAFER INTERNET DAY. We watched the Safer Internet Assembly.
Wk beg 3rd February 2025 - Our English work this week is based upon the beautiful story The Owl Who Is Afraid of the Dark.

Friday 7th February - NSPCC NUMBER DAY : The children were involved in a variety of activities including a number hunt to find the biggest number, making their own dice, playing number games.
The children made their own Snakes and Ladders games.
Some of our English work about The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark. These will help the children to write their own stories next week.
Wednesday 5th February- In Maths the children had to put numbers in order from greatest to smallest or smallest to greatest.
Tuesday 4th February- In Science the children explored materials and their properties.

Tuesday 28th January- We continued our GYMNASTICS unit in PE.

Wednesday 22nd January - In Computing this afternoon all the children logged on themselves and explored Clicker Paint.

Friday 17th January 2024 - Today the children created a piece of art work in RE based on the Creation Story.
Thursday 16th January 2025 - This term the children will be learning to play the recorder and today we had our first lesson.
Wednesday 15th January - Today the children were working on the numbers 11, as and 13.
Tuesday 14th January - In PE this term our unit of work is GYMNASTICS.
Wk beg 6th January 2025 - This week our English worked is based around a TV advert - Edgar the Dragon.
Friday 10th January 2025 - WELL DONE to this weeks Heroes.
Thursday 9th January - Today the children had there first COMPUTING session of the term. The children were paired up with a Year 2 child to help them log on and access a paint program.
In Science our work on MATERIALS continues and the children were naming the object, the material it was made out of and describing some of the properties which made that material suitable for the purpose.
The children all came back to school raring to go and have had a fantastic first week back despite the weather.
