Our topic this half term is...
Our English text this half term is The Golden Horsemen of Baghdad!
In English, we've been learning how to write persuasively. We've done lots of work on the features of persuasion, and applying these to our writing. Ask us all about our speech in the role of Jabir! ' I demand proper justice!' Last week, we were writing a persuasive advert for an Al-Jazari inspired water clock, so we needed to collect lots of powerful vocabulary for our word wall.
We've been working so hard in Maths this half term. We've been learning about fractions, decimals and percentages.
In History, we've been learning about how the Early Islamic Civilisation changed over time. Ask us for a fact about Baghdad during this time period - we know it all!
