Welcome to Dove Class

Dove Class have 2 teachers, Miss Quarmby (Mon-Wed) and Miss Morrison (Thur-Fri). We are really looking forward to all of the wonderful things we have planned for the year ahead. Use the tabs above to see what we have been doing in the classroom. 

PE will be on  a Monday and a Wednesday. For the Autumn Term, these sessions will mostly be held outside so please ensure that all children have a full PE kit consisting of a white T-shirt, black or navy shorts/leggings/joggers, trainers and a jumper. PE may change sometimes due to unforeseen circumstances to please ensue kit is in school all week. 

EARRINGS MUST BE REMOVED FOR PE SESSIONS.

Spellings - Spellings will be sent home weekly on a Friday (stuck into reading diaries). The children will practise these  for the week, and then be tested the following Friday.  Any they get wrong on the test will be circled in the reading diary for further practise at home. 

 

Times Tables - Children will be tested on their times tables weekly. These tests will take place on a Monday It will be noted in reading diaries how the children did and the times tables they need to practise for the following week.
