26/11/25 - As part of our ‘No Pens’ session, we explored the meaning of the word hierarchy and how it applied in Anglo Saxon times. We ditched our pens and made a human hierarchy, with the King at the top, the Earls (rich men and Lords) on the second row, the Thegns (important farmers) on the third row, the peasants (everyday farmers) on the fourth row, and the slaves curled up at the bottom! We thoroughly enjoyed learning this way☺️
17/11/25 - In our ‘Stop the Bleed’ workshop, we learned vital skills about what to do if we encounter someone with a nasty injury causing them to bleed quite heavily. We came out of the session feeling confident knowing what to to support the injured person until professional medical help arrived 🤕🩹🩸🛑
13/11/25 - This week, as part of our Crime and Punishment topic in history, we had a go at partaking in some of the hard labour Victorians had to do whilst in prison. It is safe to say, we found some parts very challenging indeed!
