What a fabulous ending to our Christmas week, the Best Panto ever! The children absolutely loved it and seeing all their faces light up and hearing all the laughter is the best feeling! And we enjoyed colouring, films and games on Friday! Have a lovely Christmas everyone and a Happy New Year!

Our new book focus is Biscuit Bear!

History - we finished off our toys topic by learning about Ole Kirk Christiansen who created Lego many years ago. After learning a few facts about his life, we used Lego to create our own .

Computing - We had a great afternoon on the IPads exploring and learning how to use Scratch Jnr to create our own animations. We have been mastering how to add backgrounds, add and change the sprite and create an algorithm using different blocks. Next week we will use everything we have learned to create our own animations!

Our new story this half term is ‘Traction Man is Here!’

History - we had a wonderful time exploring some toy artefacts and learning about what they used to play with in the past, some still being common today.

History - for our topic this half term we will be learning all about old and new toys. The children had a fabulous time exploring their new modern toys and talking about how they work and what they’re made of

English - we have been internalising our new story Traction Man through creating freeze frames of different scenes from the story.
