Thank you for coming along to our reading breakfast xxx

Diva lamps made from clay

What an exciting start to the week. We are learning about Diwali The Hindu festival of light. Do you like the Diva lamps we made with play dough?

Looking after the wildlife that lives in Whisper’s Woodland. The weather is cold and the birds are struggling to find food. So, we made pinecone bird feeders. We hung them in the woods for the birds to find. Our next job was to rebuild the bug hotel. The children filled tubes with straw, pine cones, cardboard tubes, twigs and leaves. A cosy home for the bugs.

What a busy week celebrating birthdays. We wrote on birthday cards. We wrapped presents. We made colourful cupcakes. Then we made real cupcakes for a party.
