09.06.23 Our final Shakespeare play of the week and today we looked at the comedy, ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream.’ We performed a scene between Bottom and Titiana, talking about how to represent Bottom’s confusion, Titiana’s enchantment as well as playing the scene for laughs as Shakespeare would have intended!
08.06.23 Today we looked at me of Shakespeare’s histories: Henry V. We enjoyed performing his battle speech and using the imagery to help.
07.06.23 Falcons loved the return of Miss B and beginning our cricket lessons. We learnt about long and short stops to help improve our speed with getting people out!
06.06.23 In English we are beginning to look at Shakespeare. We got into the role of warring families, the Montagues and the Capulets, by performing Shakespearean insults. 😅
