Knowledge Organiser - Superheroes
Kickstarting our superheroes theme with our first text for this half term, Earth Heroes. "not all heroes wear capes", this book covers 20 inspiring stories/people and the work they do for the earth🌍
12/10/22- We have been looking at some different websites as a part of our computing, the children asked me to put the website we have been using today so they can use it at home. We loved making our own music! Enjoy! https://musiclab.chromeexperiments.com/
11.10.22- St Helen’s Church visit
10.10.22- in maths we used dice to create 3-digit numbers, we then found the previous hundred and the next hundred.
07.10.22- Christmas card designing!! 🎅 Today we have been designing our Christmas cards ready for our families to purchase if they wish... keep an eye out for the fabulous designs, you will receive a code!
04.10.22- Computing challenge accepted! Today the whole class acted as a network and had to pass a message onto every person in the room successfully before reaching the final destination, this is called routing 💻 ✉️
28.09.22 super fun afternoon investigating magnetic and non-magnetic materials around the classroom with our magnets 🧲
27.09.22- we have been working super hard during our first Wow Write, a non-chronological report about climate change✍🏽
26.09.22- This week in maths we will be using number lines, we've already made a great start and have learnt 3 steps to make using them easier!
23.03.22- our first science investigation! We investigated which material created the most friction, we used a toy car and a ramp to see which material helped the car to travel the furthest. First, we wrote up our investigation looking into the resources needed, the method, and our predictions… it was then time for the results! We had lots of fun😀 🚗
22.09.22- continuing with our art, today we had a go at shading. We had to get use to how hard or light we needed to press down to get the right shade, but we did a good job!✏️👍
21.09.22- today we have been researching all about climate change ready to write a non-chronological report🌍✍🏽.
20.09.22- We have been getting super speedy with our quick fire place value starters! 🔥
15.09.22- after exploring all things Marvel and Stan Lee last week, this week we started with some line practicing ✍🏽. It was quite relaxing 🧑🏽🎨
12.09.22- using counters in maths to help us recognise place value!
