Science Wow Experiences
Sometimes before we begin a new topic or at the end to consolidate learning we may have a Wow day.  Here are some of our Wow days relating to Science. 

How do the polar bears keep warm in the Antarctica?

Year 5 and 6 begin their Great Adventurers topic. As part of their Wow day they carry out the blubber gloves experiment investigating if a layer of fat ( blubber) really does keep the Arctic animals nice and warm in their glacial habitat.
