17.10.25 SHOWING RACISM THE RED CARD. We spent a long time discussing the Red Card to Racism assembly and hearing the story of Shaka Hislop. After a mature and inspiring discussion, Swans agreed on what messages we want to share with everybody and how we could spread a big message! After our learning, we headed outside to spell out our key messages.

01.10.25 Say hello to the Swan school councillors! �� Everybody who wanted to run gave their reason to be on school council, and then anonymously voted. Cory and Theo were the independent adjudicators and counted the votes, and Seb and Jake will be our representatives! ��

15.09.25 In today's handwriting lesson, we learnt the phonetic alphabet!
11.09.25 In geography, we've been looking at lines of latitude and longitude. We used our knowledge to label key features on the globe (a balloon ��) as well as labelling the continents! ��️

We also designed our own expedition ship! You can also ask us about blubber gloves, but it was disgusting!! ����

03.09.25 OUR FIRST DAY - MEET TEAM SWAN ��������
The first thing we did this morning was talk about what a good class sounds like��, looks like �� and feels like ❤️
Then we applied for class jobs, which we loved! ��������������
Then we spent the afternoon launching into our new Great Explorers topic! We learnt about Ernest Shackleton and his famous Endurance ship ������
