End of Year 2018-2019
Our Easter event included decorated hats, decorated eggs and egg heads. The tables were full of fantastic entries. Thank you for your hard work - it was hard to decide on the winners.

WW1 Centenary Tree Planting.
We are proud to have taken part in the planting of 10 blossom cherry trees at Woodnook recreation ground.
The children dug, planted, filled in and looked at artefacts from WW1 with the help of Selston Parish Council, Ashfield District Council, local residents and staff.
The children really enjoyed this opportunity. Thank you.
World Book Day
Held on 14.03.18 - Just a few photographs and thoughts. See class pages for more photographs. The day started with a whole school assembly and spotting famous book characters. Later in the day buddy classes shared books.

2017-2018 - We are going to be working within school and the community to support the WW1 centenary.
Look out for use planting poppy seeds with support from Ashfield District Council.
Join us to welcome the Tour of Britain 2017 stage 4 cyclists on Wednesday 6th September at 10.30am at Woodnook Recreation ground (Near the White Lion).
The bicycles that the children decorated last term will on display.
You could bring a picnic.
You could wear yellow (the colour for stage 4 of the event)
Yoga club will be changing to 2 mornings a week, Monday and Tuesday, as of 27th February 2017

We celebrated all the wonderful people who are part of our amazing school!
Our assembly was super duper and Mr Eadon made a cake in front of our eyes, to show that each part is essential, just like the people are essential elements of Holly Hill.
