Task 1 – Listen to the story again of Jack and the Beanstalk.
Task 2 – Watch Aunty Mabel – Bulbs and learn how to look after plants and care for our environment.
Task 3 – Look at changes of the planted beans (from previous week). Can you see any roots growing?

Task 3 – Follow the sequencing pictures to plant beans or seeds in a pot.

Task 3 – Taste different kinds of porridge. Which flavour is your favourite?

Task 3 – Describe different textures you have around the home/garden by touching them with your hands or walking on them with your feet.

Task 3 – Learn how some families celebrate Easter (either using the PowerPoint slides or by watching CBeebies). What do you do at Easter with your families?

Task 1 – Learn about the solar system by watching CBeebies 'stargazing'. Can you remember some of the names of the planets?
Task 2 – Learn about an astronaut by watching Let’s play on CBeebies. How does an astronaut travel? What must they wear?
Task 3 – Watch Apollo 11 landing on the moon. Did you know that the moon has craters on it, caused by rocks crashing onto it? Do the space quiz to test your knowledge!

Task 1 - Listen to the story How to Catch a Star. Did you know that the sun is a star? The sun gives our planet Earth heat and light.
Task 2 – Learn the planet song. Did you know that there are 8 planets in the solar system? Which planet do we live on?
Task 3 – Explore using different instruments. Can you copy and tap a steady beat? Can you make up your own rhythm using instruments? Everyday objects around the home make really good instruments.

Task 1 – Use the computer to find out some information on space or look at pages from an information book.
Task 2 – Do a space dance! Can you copy the movements? Maybe you can make up your own movements? Or try walking like an astronaut in space?
Task 3 – We are going to learn about different weather. Which weather is Seren ready for? Can you choose the right item for the weather? Do you know the four seasons; Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter. Which season are we in now?

W/C 22nd February 2021 – Alien’s Love Underpants
Task 1 - Listen to the story Alien’s Love Underpants. Has anything gone missing from you?
Task 2 – Count your pants! How many are there altogether? Can you show the amount on your fingers? By drawing pictures or making marks?
Task 3 – Draw and describe an alien using as many interesting words as you can. Think about the colour, size, number of eyes, arms, legs etc.

Task 1 - Listen to the story Supertato. Talk about what a Superhero does.
Task 2 – Learn about some of the different food groups (below). The main ones we would like you to learn and remember are vegetables and fruit but there are a few extra if you would like an extra challenge. Do you know the names of the different vegetables in the story?
Task 3 – Do some Vegetable tasting. Which is your favourite?
You could do some printing with different kinds of vegetables and paint to create a picture.

Task 1 – Use drums (or a pan, chocolate tub) to tap out the repeated refrain “Run, run, as fast as you can! You can’t catch me I’m a gingerbread man!” Can you beat the drum loud and quiet following the rhythm?
Task 2 – Do some baking…talk about what happens when you add/mix the ingredients together. Share your photos on Tapestry so we can see your yummy treats!

Task 1 - Listen to the story (below)The Gingerbread Man and join in with the repeated refrains; “Run, run as fast as you can! You can’t catch me I’m a gingerbread man!”
Task 2 – Investigate what happens when you dip a biscuit into a cold drink and a warm drink. Please do this activity with a grown up…Can you talk about what has happened? And why? Does the biscuit dissolve?
Task 3 – Ask your grown up to put a toy in different positions to help you use positional language to say where the toy is. Can you use the language; under, on top, behind, next to etc to describe where your toy is.

Task 2 - From your home have a look at the different kinds of vehicles which you can see. Which vehicle did you see the most? You could ask your grown up with help to make marks/lines to show how many different kinds of transport you could see.
Task 3 - Play let's compare game (animals). Have a go at comparing animals to see which is the biggest, smallest, shortest, longest and tallest?
