Remote Learning for Isolation Periods at Home
If you are isolating at home but you have no symptoms and feel well you are required to continue with remote learning while at home during this time. We will be posting weekly timetables on here (like we were prior to school closure). On the timetable you will see links to the websites which you need for the lesson. You also need to continue with your daily reading, spelling practise, TT Rockstars and/or mathletics.

Morning All,
Hope you're all well. Hope you had a good day yesterday. I'm thinking that you are probably fed up with seeing my face on here every morning (understandably ) so I thought that some mornings I may come on here to just leave you with a motivational thought for the day!........ I want you to know that when I'm thinking of my quote/my thought for the day... I'm thinking of
every single one of you!
Have a great day!
Friday 15th January
Hi all,
Hope all is well with everyone this morning and hope you're ready for the day ahead. I'm sure you've all mastered the Remote Learning page now and are super fast at finding what you're looking for. So it's Maths and English as usual this morning with Science as your topic this afternoon. Remember to also fill your day with Times Table Rock Stars, Mathletics, Spellings and Reading. Try and get some fresh air too...maybe a walk? I've heard a few people are doing a bit of Joe Wicks
! ( I might even give it a go myself) George and I have loved reading and talking about the stories from the 1001 Arabian Nights book.....what has been your favourite learning this week? Looking forward to getting your work today....only a handful of people to still send me their first piece of work!! Look out for Miss Hill and Mrs Brooks who are storytelling on our original class page!
Have a good day everyone

Monday 11th January
Year 5 and 6 Jigsaw Spring 1
This half term our Jigsaw topic is Dreams and Goals. Although our jigsaw lessons can't be quite the same as we're not all in school together, we would still like you to have a little bit of quiet reflection time each week. It would be really great if you have someone at home that you could talk to and share your thoughts, feelings and worries with.
There will be a 20 minute activity for you to complete too as you would normally in your Jigsaw Journal at school.
Don't forget if worries get too big you can email us at school too. We're still here to help you-no matter what!
Look on the weekly timetable to find your weekly Jigsaw activity.
Wednesday 6th January
From today I will be posting on this part of Owl class page.....the Remote Learning page. I hope some of you have already managed to start some of this work. Every week there will be a new timetable. The timetable will have Maths, English and Topic work on for you to do. There will also be any help sheets that you might need and links to websites that you will be able to use. The Year 5 and 6 team will also be posting on here with some daily inputs too.
Please send in your work to...
owlclass@hollyhill.notts.sch.uk
Send in any work, photographs and also any questions that you may have. I will try and get back to you as quickly as I can. Some days this may be a little later in the day as I am still teaching.
I will be giving everyone a quick call next week just to check that everything is ok.
